Best Hollywood Movie

Few movies are the all time best movies which one always like to watch and always look for that kind of movies. One of that kind of movie and also stated as Hollywood's all time best movie is 'The Shawshank Redemption'.

Director Frank Darabont adopted the screenplay from a Stephen King novella and made his directorial debut with this movie. Movie is all about two prisoners who met in the prison and were imprisoned for many years lived their life in solitude. It tell the story of a prisoner Andy Dufrense (Tim Robbins) who has been into prison for a killing his wife and her lover which he didn't commit and has to serve two life sentences in the prison. He meets a fellow prisoner named Red (Morgan Freeman) in the jail who is already serving a life sentence for murdering when he was young and can get anything in the jail. He later on becomes the best buddy of Andy and helps him getting different things in the prison.

The prison life of Andy has been described in a very smooth way and the ups and downs in his prison life are shown in a seamless manner. The whole story is narrated by Red in the movie by which director keeps the few parts of Andy's life quiet mysterious. The slow but steady flow of movie makes it more interesting and keeps us glued. The climax of the movie is outstanding and touches the heart.

The movie was released in the year 1994 along with the movies "Forest Gump" and "Pulp Fiction". It was nominated for 7 Oscars but unfortunately didn't won any of them. I would surely recommend you to watch this movie

I will rate this movie 5/5

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Movie Review

Once Upon a time In MumbaaiOnce upon a time in MUMBAAI is a Balaji Production movie directed by Milan Luthria Ajay Devgan,Emraan Hashmi,Prachi Desai and Kangana Ranaut. It is a movie said to be based on the life of the famous Mumbai gangster during 1960s and 1970s named Haji Mastan who became the first celebrity gangster of the city, expanding his clout in the Indian film industry.

Once upon a time in MUMBAAI takes us back in era of 1970s when the city of gold was ruled by the underworld dons like Haji Mastan an Daud Ibrahim. It tells us the story of rise and reign of the don Sultan Mirza (Ajay Devgan) who later on had differences with his own family and his biggest fan Shoaib Khan (Emraan Hashmi).

The movie begins with a regret of ACP Agnel Wilson (Randeep Hooda) claiming that it was he who did not take any serious actions against the rise of Shoaib Khan 18 years ago. It shows that Sultan Mirza falls in love with the Bollywood actress Rehana (Kangna Ranaut) which causes him to enter into the production of her new upcoming films. Side by side the twilight of money and fame leads Shoaib to do all kind of illegal work. In this way the saga of two big smugglers has been shown in a way that power and money is not stable it keeps on transferring from one to another.

Its difficult to see periodic dramas in Bollywood and that too without historical characters. The movie shows the era of 1970s so the director has done good work in taking us back to 1970s. He has taken good care of each and everything whether its shoes, cars or the buildings shown in the movie, all resemble 1970. Movie tends to be a good entertainer and has a crisp in the script.

Movie moreover glorifies crime and shows how the underworld don is treated as 'Robin Hood' by the people. Intense acting done by Ajay Devgan and Emraan Hashmi is a treat to watch. Movie also has a good music with numbers like' Peeloon', 'Tum Jo Aae' etc which has been given by Pritam Chakrobarthy. Overall its surely a one time watch movie and a good time pass for the weekend.

I will rate this movie 2.5/5
